Easter Sunday

We awoke to an absolutely gorgeous Easter Sunday in Huntersville. Janet was very excited because she was going to get to show off her girls in the beautiful Easter dresses that their G.G. had made for them. Blake was just proud of the whole family and excited for what would be a tremendous day.

The morning started well and everybody got ready on time. Service started at 9:30 so we wanted to be there shortly after 9 to ensure that we could get some seats with "easy access" to the exit in case things deteriorated quickly. Almost immediately after pulling into the parking lot we started hearing the "ooohhhs" and "aaahhhs" about how pretty the girls were in their dresses and bonnets. Their G.G. is an amazing lady with many talents.

We were able to get some pictures prior to the service. The church had set up an area for picture taking so that helped as their were photographers on hand. At this point Anna Blake had started to cry slightly but she was still hanging in.

We found our seats at the back of the sanctuary around 9:10. It was like the big guy was looking out for us because the place was packed but these two seats couldn't have been hand picked any better. The service started around 9:30 and Anna Blake made it through the processional before Blake needed to walk with her outside. Samantha hung in a little longer but unfortunately we had to leave early. They are still just a bit young to pull off a full service during nap time.

All in all it was a glorious day and the girls looked beautiful. We wish we could have been in Charleston to share with G.G. in person but hopefully these pictures will suffice for now.
